Meet Our Mascot

Namaskara!

I'm Kanmani.

My name comes from the Tamil word for “the apple of my eye” — and that is exactly how we feel about every guest who walks through our door. I am the heart and soul of Namah, the face of everything this café stands for.

Every morning I rise early to brew your filter coffee just right — strong, frothy, and poured with care into a brass tumbler. I believe food is never just food. It is a story, a memory, a warm embrace on a difficult day.

At Namah, we cook the food your paati made on Sunday mornings — bisi bele bhaat that warms you from the inside, dosas that arrive golden and crisp, and coffee that tastes like coming home. South Indian tradition, served with love, in the heart of Mumbai.

Come, sit, stay a while. You are welcome here.
